Generate/DATA01.gif View

The View option in the Data menu or the main toolbar offers an AutoSignal graph of the data as well as a very fast numeric list facility.

Generate/8077.gif Generate/8078.gif Error bars will be available if replicates were averaged. If all of the replicates for a given X-value are identical, an SD of 0 is used for the error bar. If only a single value is available, AutoSignal uses the conservative approach of setting the SD for that point to range of the Y-variable.

List

Generate/8943.gif The List Data option lists the index, x, y values in a three column table. The listing uses the AutoSignal text viewer facility.

Copy

Generate/8941.gif The Copy Data to Clipboard option copies the x and y values to the clipboard. Formats include full precision binary (for spreadsheets such as Excel) and ASCII (for pasting into text editors). Note that the current data table can also be copied to the clipboard using the Copy option in the main Edit menu.

Save

Generate/8942.gif The Save Data to Disk option writes the x and y values to a supported file format. These formats include ASCII, Excel 97, Excel 95, Lotus WK3, Lotus WK1, SPSS, or Systat. Note that the current data table can also be saved to disk using the Save As option in the main File menu.
