Subtract Imported Reference

The Subtract Imported Reference option in the Data menu is used to subtract a reference signal from the current data set. The reference can come from any of the supported import formats: In the event it is possible to generate a valid background externally, this procedure can be used for removing the background. After the reference has been subtracted from the current data set, the difference is displayed in an AutoSignal Graph.

Use the OK button to accept the subtraction and update the current data table. If the result is not what is expected, click the Undo button to preserve the current data table.
